Completion of expansion work on the mall, which now has a second floor and a food court. With 175 retail stores and more than 3,000 employees working there, CF Fairview Pointe Claire becomes the largest employer on Montreal’s West Island.

Major redevelopment of the shopping centre (a $100 million investment). Redevelopment of the shopping centre’s interior. Reconfiguration of certain rental spaces and relocation of the food court to prepare for the future residential development.

Start of construction on the future Fairview-Pointe-Claire Station of the Réseau express métropolitain (REM)
